Family Session Feature: The Gibson Family

Oh how I love summer family portrait sessions!

How how how are we only meer days away from the end of summer?!?! I have no clue! Summer is busy around here for work but it's also packed full of some of my favorite momma things. Summer nights with my girls playing catch in the backyard, slip and slide, early afternoons off hanging around the pool, lake weekends, camper trips and waterpark days. But when I'm not hanging out with my family, I'm creating with yours! And summer sessions hit with a different energy... you know the energy - the SUMMER kid energy. Do ya'll remember summer as a KID - it's like Christmas but for THREE MONTHS.

The Gibson family and I kicked off summer together with a beautiful mid-day park session. We talk a lot about sunsets but boy do I love the bold bright crisp lighting of a mid-day session! And this grove of trees is an absolute favorite of mine to photograph in. We had fun creating so many different looks with them and playing games and climbing trees and the wall gallery we created will hold onto these ages/stages in their lives for years to come.

Last summer sessions are open for IL families Friday 8/18 and Sunday 8/20 with last summer sessions for Mid-Missouri families Tuesday 8/15 and Wednesday 8/23.
