I've had the pleasure over the past few months to partner with Shea and Leanne the publishers of the newest local magazine in Columbia, MO - Columbia City Lifestyle. These two are quite the dynamic duo and they have put in the work getting the new magazine up and thriving in mid-Missouri since the first issue dropped in November of 2024. I've gotten to photograph thee two themselves, along with a number of small businesses, events and personalities in the area for either feature stories, cover photos or ad content.

Working in the local magazine space isn't new for me and honestly I have a really soft spot in my heart for it as many years ago (summer 2010) when we made our first big move to Decatur, IL and I was experiencing my first restart I got my start with Thrive Entertainment Guide. I learned that working with local publications like this bring so much more than your images in print (which was - and still is - really cool to me, and my girls!). No, working with local publications is about connection which is my love language. It puts me in places to connect with so many people I might not have the chance to... in just under a year so far take a look at the folks I've gotten to connect with below...
