What happens when you give yourself an entire day to stop, step away from the daily grind, and think about what you actually want next?
That’s Envision.
Each year, Krista Kippenberger, Marie Newell, and I—Sarah Shorthose—come together to create a space for entrepreneurs, professionals, and anyone navigating a new season of life to pause, reflect, dream, and take intentional steps forward.
This year, Envision returns for its 4th year (but 5th retreat) on Friday, January 8, 2027, at a beautiful lake house at Lake of the Ozarks.
What is Envision?
Envision was created for people who know they want something more, different, or simply more intentional, but haven't always had the time or space to figure out what that looks like.
Maybe you're considering a career change, your business is growing in a new direction, or life has changed and the vision you had a few years ago doesn't quite fit anymore.
Or, maybe...just maybe, nothing is particularly wrong. You just know you've been moving so quickly that you haven't had a chance to stop and ask, "What's next for me?"
That’s what Envision is about.
Throughout the day, you'll have opportunities to reflect, dream, vision cast, explore potential changes, set goals, and start turning those ideas into action.
You don't have to have your five-year plan figured out before you arrive. That’s kind of the whole point.
Why Envision?
It’s easy to spend an entire year reacting to whatever comes next.
Work gets busy. Family needs your attention. Your business changes. A new opportunity appears. Something you thought you wanted no longer feels right. Suddenly, another year has passed.
Envision gives you permission to pause.
Your vision can change as you change. Sometimes you need to dream bigger. Sometimes you need to edit the dream you already had. And sometimes, you need to completely pivot.
The goal isn't for someone else to tell you what your next step should be. It's to give you the space, questions, tools, community, and support to figure it out for yourself.
A Day Designed With Intention
The Envision experience moves through the day intentionally, giving you a mix of guided sessions, personal reflection, creativity, conversation, and time to work through your own ideas.
We'll start with breakfast, networking, and a guided meditation before moving into reflection and vision casting with Krista.
Sarah will lead a conversation around change, pivoting, and what happens when the life or business you envisioned starts to look different.
After lunch and time to connect, Marie will lead everyone through vision boarding and help turn those bigger ideas into tangible next steps.
You'll also have time for small-group conversations, individual reflection, and our Micro-Move, a small action you can take soon after the retreat to keep the momentum going.
Come for the Day. Stay for the Experience.
The main retreat runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, January 8.
Your retreat ticket includes:
- Breakfast
- Lunch
- Envision Workbook
- Guided sessions and activities
- Reflection and vision-casting time
- Small-group conversations
- Time with the hosts
Want to make a whole experience out of it?
A limited number of overnight rooms are available as an optional upgrade. The overnight experience includes catered dinner, continued time with the hosts and other attendees, breakfast Saturday morning, and flexible midday checkout.
It’s a chance to keep the conversation going instead of rushing right back into everyday life.
Who Is Envision For?
Envision is female-focused, but everyone is welcome.
Past attendees have included entrepreneurs, people navigating career changes, established business owners, empty nesters, retirees, and people simply looking for intentional time to think about what's next.
You don't have to be in the middle of a major life transition.
You don't have to be starting a business.
You don't have to know exactly what you're looking for.
Come with a big question, a half-formed idea, a dream you've been putting off, or simply the feeling that it's time to pause.
Couples, business partners, and work teams are welcome, too.
Can't Make It to the Retreat?
We get it. Between work, family, travel, and everything else on your calendar, making it to the lake for a full day or, especially, an overnight isn't always possible.
That’s why we created the Envision Digital Course.
The digital experience brings the heart of the Envision Retreat to you, with guided reflections, vision casting, exercises, and the Envision Workbook all available on your own schedule. Start whenever you're ready, move at your own pace, and come back to the experience whenever you need a reset.
No travel. No calendar juggling. Just intentional space to reflect, get clear, and envision what’s next.
